Tallow is nature’s original skincare ingredient - a deeply nourishing, bioavailable fat rendered from certified organic, grass-fed beef suet in New Zealand. Unlike synthetic moisturisers, tallow mirrors the fatty acid profile of our skin’s natural sebum, helping it absorb beautifully and support long-term moisture balance.
Sourcing Our Tallow
At Dew Kind, we use only certified organic suet from small New Zealand farms. These cattle are raised naturally on organic pasture - free from growth hormones, routine antibiotics, and GMO feed. The result is pure, nutrient-rich tallow that supports skin in the most natural way.

Why It Matters

Why We Use Organic Jojoba Oil
We blend our tallow with certified organic jojoba oil - a lightweight, non-comedogenic oil that resembles the skin’s own sebum. It absorbs quickly, hydrates deeply, and supports repair with vitamin E and antioxidants. Together, tallow and jojoba create a balm that’s both protective and restorative.
Botanical Infusions for Gentle Care
We keep our balm gentle and low-tox by slowly infusing whole organic calendula and chamomile. No essential oils are added - just pure, nutrient-rich tallow blended with organic jojoba and botanicals. This makes it safe and nourishing for babies, sensitive, or eczema-prone skin, while letting the natural goodness of our ingredients shine.
