What makes Dew Kind different from other skincare brands?
At Dew Kind, we believe that skincare should be simple, honest, and made with pure, nourishing ingredients. Every product is handcrafted in small batches in our Auckland studio, using only ingredients we trust and would use in our own homes. Our goal is to provide low-tox, effective care for all skin types, especially those with sensitive skin.
What are the benefits of using your tallow balm?
Our whipped tallow balm is deeply nourishing, offering long-lasting hydration while calming and soothing sensitive skin. It’s perfect for those looking for a gentle, natural alternative to synthetic moisturisers. The high-quality tallow we use helps restore your skin’s natural barrier, making it feel soft, smooth, and healthy.
Does your whipped tallow balm have a scent?
Our tallow balm is either unscented or infused with organic botanicals, like chamomile & calendula or vanilla pods, to provide a subtle, natural fragrance. We never add essential oils or synthetic fragrances, ensuring each product is gentle and safe for even the most sensitive skin.
What are your candles made of?
Our candles are crafted from 100% natural soy wax and feature a cotton wick for a clean, low-tox burn. We keep our candles simple, free from essential oils or fragrance oils, so you can enjoy a pure, subtle scent that doesn’t overwhelm your space. Perfect for a calming, clean ambiance.
Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Yes! All Dew Kind products are designed with sensitive skin in mind. We use only the gentlest ingredients, free from synthetics or harsh chemicals. If you have particularly sensitive skin or are prone to allergies, we always recommend doing a patch test before using any new product.
Are your products eco-friendly?
Absolutely. Sustainability is at the heart of Dew Kind. We carefully select ingredients and packaging that are kind to both your skin and the planet. All of our packaging is recyclable, and we aim to reduce waste with every product we create.
How should I store my products?
Soap: Keep in a cool, dry place and let it dry between uses for longer-lasting bars.
Candles: Store in a cool, dry place. Trim the wick before each use to avoid soot and ensure an even burn.
Whipped Tallow Balm: Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the lid tightly closed to preserve freshness.
Do you offer wholesale options for stores?

Do you ship internationally?
Not yet, but we’re working towards expanding globally in the future. At the moment, we only ship within New Zealand.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
We take great care in packing your order, but if anything isn’t right, please contact us within 7 days. We’ll resolve the issue quickly and make sure you’re happy with your purchase.
How long does shipping take within New Zealand?
Typically, within 7–14 days. You’ll receive tracking details once your order is on its way.
Do you offer refunds?
If you’re not completely satisfied with your Dew Kind purchase, you can return unused items in their original packaging within 30 days. Please note that we cannot accept returns on soaps or personal care items due to health and safety regulations. If there’s an issue with your order, please reach out, and we’ll take care of it as quickly as possible.
How long will my Dew Kind products last?
Our products are made to last. A little goes a long way with our whipped tallow balm, and our candles burn slowly for long-lasting enjoyment. Depending on your usage, a jar of tallow balm can last several months. Our soy candles are designed for a clean, consistent burn that’s both safe and beautiful.
